Mail Watch

Daily SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and blacklist checks for one mail domain at $12 per month or $120 per year.

Who This Topic Is For

People who want a daily mail-domain check without running a weekly website scan.

Prerequisites

Before You Start

Use this checklist to make sure the workflow guidance applies cleanly to your current task.

  • You can sign in.
  • You know the mail domain, such as example.com.
  • An admin has saved the Mail Watch Stripe Price IDs before checkout can open.
Expectations

What To Expect

Use this section to set the right outcome before you start the workflow.

One domain, one seat

Mail Watch is $12 per mail domain per month or $120 per year. It is not a Website Watch depth. Deep weekly scans can still mention mail records, and that is a different product.

The first check is quiet

The first successful day stores the failing signals that already exist and does not email them. Later days email only signals that are new, unless you muted that fingerprint or quiet hours are active.

Playbook

Step-By-Step Guidance

Follow these steps in order for a reliable and repeatable outcome.

  1. Open Mail from the dashboard.

Sign in and go to /watch/mail. Website Watch stays at /watch.

  2. Add the mail domain.

Enter a name, the domain, and monthly or yearly billing. The first domain opens Stripe Checkout.

A later domain on a full seat asks you to confirm the prorated charge and the new total before quantity increases.

  3. Read the rows and tune alerts.

    Open the domain.

SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and Blacklist list the latest check. Build a replacement record opens the SPF builder with the domain filled in.

Build a DMARC record does the same for DMARC. Extra recipients takes up to five email addresses.

Pause keeps the seat. Cancel domain asks you to confirm.

The paid seat drops at period end. There is no mid-cycle refund.

Examples

Worked Examples

These scenarios show how the workflow looks in practice, including the result you should see.

Sixth domain on a five-domain subscription

Five domains already occupy the quantity. Adding a sixth shows the prorated amount and the new recurring total. You confirm before Stripe updates quantity.

The sixth domain becomes active. The first check for that domain is still quiet.

SPF was already missing

The first check records the missing SPF row and does not email it. You publish SPF the next week. Mail Watch does not email that old gap again.

Existing gaps stay quiet. A new blacklist listing the day after would email.

Cancel one unused domain

Five domains are paid and four are still in use. Cancel domain asks you to confirm. The unused seat stays available until the period ends.

Quantity drops to the occupied count at period end. There is no mid-cycle refund.
Validation

Validation Checklist

Use this checklist to confirm the workflow was completed correctly.

  • The domain is example.com, not a full URL path.
  • The first day did not email existing failures.
  • A new failing signal emails after the baseline, unless it is muted or inside quiet hours.
  • This subscription is Mail Watch, not Website Watch Standard, Deep, or Agency Standard.
  • Extra recipients were saved with Save alerts. The cap is five addresses.
  • Cancel drops the unused seat at period end. There is no mid-cycle refund.
Troubleshooting

Common Problems And Fixes

If something does not match expectation, check these common failure modes first.

Checkout says billing is not configured

The $12 or $120 Stripe Price ID is empty or the amount does not match. An admin saves it under Website Watch settings before checkout can succeed.

Common failure mode

I expected a website scan

Mail Watch only runs the email-security and blacklist checks. Use Website Watch for the weekly site scan.

Common failure mode

Cancel looked like an immediate refund

Cancel domain drops the unused seat at period end. The local seat stays usable until then. There is no mid-cycle refund.

FAQ

Mail Watch FAQs

Common questions for this topic.

No. Deep Watch is a weekly website scan that can include mail findings. Mail Watch is a daily check of one mail domain and does not run that scanner.
